Brent Council Navratri Grant Cut
Brent Council's Navratri festival grant is to be axed from this year.
The Background
The Council has a mammoth task to cutting its budget by approx. £ 38 million this year.
Unfortunately, one of the areas affected is the Festivals budget. This will include cutting of the Navratri Grant which will in turn affect communities many of which will not be able to host their Navratri events this year. For those communities who still can, their members will face higher ticket costs.
